Cheese Fondue

Serves: 1 person   |   Meals:


  • 90g Gruyere cheese
  • 90g Emmenthal cheese
  • 20g Vacherin cheese
  • 1/4 cup white wine
  • 1 tbsp flour
  • 1 tsp Kirsch liquor (optional)
  • 1 garlic clove
  • nutmeg to taste


  1. Grate cheese
  2. Rub interior of a medium saucepan with the garlic clove
  3. Mix the cheese and flour in a bowl
  4. heat wine in saucepan on med/high until just before it starts boiling
  5. Add the cheese and flour mix, nutmeg and pepper to taste to the wine and stir consistently until mixture is smooth. About 10 minutes.
  6. Transfer cheese mixture to fondue pot
