Cheese Fondue
Ingredients
- 90g Gruyere cheese
- 90g Emmenthal cheese
- 20g Vacherin cheese
- 1/4 cup white wine
- 1 tbsp flour
- 1 tsp Kirsch liquor (optional)
- 1 garlic clove
- nutmeg to taste
Directions
- Grate cheese
- Rub interior of a medium saucepan with the garlic clove
- Mix the cheese and flour in a bowl
- heat wine in saucepan on med/high until just before it starts boiling
- Add the cheese and flour mix, nutmeg and pepper to taste to the wine and stir consistently until mixture is smooth. About 10 minutes.
- Transfer cheese mixture to fondue pot
