Cheese Fondue

Serves: 1 person   |   Meals:


  • 100g Gruyere cheese
  • 100g Emmenthal cheese
  • 1/4 cup white wine
  • 1 tbsp flour
  • 1 tsp Kirsch liquor (optional)
  • 1 garlic clove
  • ground pepper


  1. Grate cheese
  2. Rub interior of a medium saucepan with the garlic clove
  3. Mix the cheese and flour in a bowl
  4. heat wine in saucepan on med/high until just before it starts boiling
  5. Add the cheese and flour mix and pepper to taste to the wine and stir consistently until mixture is smooth. About 10 minutes. Add Kirsch Liquor (optional)
  6. Transfer cheese mixture to fondue pot
